Fr. Jean-Claude Mukendi SDB

Fr. Jean-Claude Mukendi is a Salesian of Don Bosco from the Vice-Province of Africa Congo–Congo (ACC). He made his first religious profession on 24 August 2006 and was ordained to the priesthood on 15 July 2017.
He completed his formation studies in Philosophy and Theology and later pursued further academic training in International Cooperation and Humanitarian Aid, as well as Civil Law. His academic background reflects his interest in the social and humanitarian dimensions of the Church’s mission, particularly in service to young people and vulnerable communities.
Fr. Jean-Claude currently serves at the Vice-Provincial Headquarters in Kinshasa, where he works as the Provincial Secretary of the Vice-Province of Africa Congo–Congo. In this role, he collaborates closely with the Provincial and his Council, supporting the coordination, administration, and communication of the Vice-Province.
He was recently appointed Regional Secretary for the Salesian Region of Africa Central West, a role in which he contributes to strengthening collaboration, communication, and coordination among the Salesian Provinces in the region, in support of the Salesian mission for the young.
Through his ministry and service, Fr. Jean-Claude continues to contribute to the growth of the Salesian mission inspired by the charism of Don Bosco, especially in the African context.
